Marianne has never really had pets per se. While she was on the run, any creatures she came across were very much considered food or foe. If she couldn’t kill them for sustenance, she would run away. Since then she has found the idea of pets to be a little odd, especially given the wide variety of things she was forced to eat on the run. She has never felt the urge to have one of her own. However, there is one small animal that she has become oddly fond of. For a whole, Bog, the ex-king and a dear friend of Marianne’s, has had a small black pomeranian, Bumble. At first, Marianne hated the small, yappy creature. Over time, the two have reached an understanding. Marianne brings treats for him, and he doesn’t yap. Sometimes, she might even pick him up and give him a little cuddle if Bog isn’t looking. If anyone else asked, she would say that she hated the damn creature, but under duress she would admit that actually she is quite attached to the little thing. It may yap, and it may be annoying, but something about its soft, black fluff makes Marianne go a little gooey inside.
