Marianne never felt a particular need to change many of her traits. She was always proud to be a member of her family. The easier it was for people to tell that she was related to her father the better, in her opinion. After all, she was almost the spitting image of him. A daughter of whom her father was extremely proud. The one trait that she “earned” as she grew was her horns. Her father had nearly identical horns, and he cited to her as she was growing up that the tradition for the family was that upon completing their transformation ceremony, they would earn their “crown”. Her horns are sharp and spiky, much like the sword she carries around.

When her father was killed, and she was finally able to accept the fact that he had not been the kind and benevolent ruler that she thought he was, she briefly considered the idea of changing some of her traits, make herself look less like her father, but ultimately she decided not to. It was important to remember where she came from and who she really is. Make sure she judges people fairly and not with bias, and not be tricked by someone like her father again.
